Important Details about TNPSC VAO Recruitment 2012

No.of Vacancies: 1870

Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to Rs.20,200

Grade pay: Rs.2400

Age: For BC,BCM,MBC,SC,SCA,ST candidates minimum age is 21 and maximum age should not be more that 40 as on 01.07.2012. For other categories age should be between 21 years and 30 years on 01.07.2012.

Educational Qualification: A pass in SSLC or any other equivalent eligibility with admission to Higher secondary courses. Knowledge of Tamil is compulsory.

Selection Procedure: Selection is based on marks obtained in the written exam and District option taken up by the candidates.

Examination Fee: The Exam fee is Rs.125/- i.e Rs.75 for Exam and Rs.50 for the application form should be paid to take up the exam. Candidates claiming fee exemption must pay the cost of application form alone.

Question Paper Pattern for VAO Exam 2012

* The question paper will have a total of 200 questions, 100 questions from General Knowledge and 100 questions from S.S.L.C Tamil or English.

* Each question carries 1.5 marks with a total of 300 marks.

* A minimum of 90 marks should be obtained to pass the exam.

* The exam duration is 3 hours.

TNPSC Group 2 Exam results latest updates TNPSC Group 2 exam results to be declared soon

Tamilnadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) had conducted the exams for Group 2(II) CSSE officers on July 30, 2011. The results are not yet declared as of now. Initially it was announced that the results for Group 2(II) CSSE officers will be declared in the month of April 2012. It has been delayed further and it is expected to be released today.

As per the latest news Group 2(II) CSSE officers results 2011 will be declared today, June 08, 2012. IF not then we have to hope that it will be declared at least by next week.

It would be frustrating for the candidates who has appeared for the Group 2(II) CSSE officers exam in 2011. It is going to be almost a year and still the results are not out yet.
