Tamilnadu Electricity Board TNEB has revised the tariff rates for domestic as well as industrial consumers effective from April 01, 2012. This has been further revised on April 04, 2012. Below are the list of revised tariff rates 2012 for all consumers in Tamilnadu. This list would be useful to calculate the exact rates applicable as per the units consumed. Revised Domestic Tariff Rates 2012
Up to 200 units rates are as follows
Up to 100 Units - Rs. 1.00 per unit
101 to 200 units - Rs. 1.50 per unit
Above 200 units rates are as follows
1 to 200 units - Rs. 2 per unit
201 to 500 units - Rs. 3.00 per unit
Above 500 units Rates are as follows
Up to 200 units - Rs. 2 per unit
201 to 500 units - Rs. 3 per unit
501 and above units - Rs. 5.75 per unit
Revised Comercial Establishments Tariff Rates 2012
up to 100 units - Rs. 4.30 per unit
above 100 units - Rs. 7 per unit
Revised Tariff Rates for Temples 2012
up to 120 units - Rs. 2.50 per unit
above 120 units - Rs. 5 per unit
Revised Tariff Rates for Private Schools, Colleges - Rs. 5 per unit
Revised Tariff Rates for Government and Government-Aided Schools - Rs. 4.50 per unit
