Tamilnadu Public Service commission TNPSC had issued notification for VAO recruitment for the year 2012. Interested candidates can apply for this position online at the official website. There are a total of 1870 vacancies this year for the VAO recruitment 2012. The written exam will consist of objective type questions. Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC VAO Recruitment 2012

. A pass in SSLC public examination or any other equivalent exam.
. The candidate age should be between 21 and 40 years as on July 01, 2012.
. Knowing Tamil language is desired.

TNPSC VAO 2012 Exam Pattern

The TNPSC VAO exam consists of objective type questions.

General Knowledge (S.S.L.C. Standard – 100 Items)
General Tamil / General English (S.S.L.C. Standard – 100 Items).

The Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs.125/-.
The duration of the VAO exam is 3 hours. The question paper is for a maximum of 300 marks.
