VITMEE MCA MTECH Admissions 2013 notification

Vellore Institute of Technology VIT is inviting applications for interested and eligible candidates for admissions to their MCA and M.Tech courses for the academic year 2013-2014. Candidates will be selected through the Entrance Exam that will be conducted on June 8th and 9th 2013. Eligibility Criteria for VIT MCA and M.Tech Admissions 2013

A pass in graduation with 60% aggregate for MCA and 50% aggregate for M.Tech from a recognized university.
Good academic record in 10th and 12th class.
Candidates who are in their final year can also apply.
Candidates should complete their final year exams before VIT selection interview.
Selected caniddates should produce their provisional degree certificate before August 15, 2013 to be eligible for admission.

Admission Procedure for VIT MCA and M.Tech Admissions 2013

Admission for MCA and M.Tech will be based on perfornace in VITMEE.
Short-listed candidates will be called for interview. The names will be published in official website.
Interview date and time will be intimated to the candidates in website and also through SMS.
Selected canidaets will haev to pay counsellignfee Rs. 1000/- which is non-refundable and it will be adjusted in the tution fees once candidate joins the university.
The amount has to be paid in the form of DD in favour of "VIT University" payable at Vellore.

Last date for receipt of application forms: May 18, 2013
VIT Entrance Exam: June 8th and 9th 2013
Declaration of Results (Tentative): before June 14, 2013.
Interview/councelling for MCA admissions: June 24, 2013
Interview/councelling for M.Tech Automotive Engineering admissions: June 24, 2013
Interview/councelling for other M.Tech programmes admissions: June 25th and 26th 2013.
