Vijay Awards 2012 had completed its sixth edition on June 16, 2012. The grand function was held at Jawaharlal Nehru indoor stadium in Chennai. The awards were given to 143 tamil films in 34 different categories that were released in 2011. The function was very lively with some stunning performances by the lead actors and actress.
