For example: In C12
The alphabet stands for
A – First quarter of the year (January to March)
B - Second quarter of the year (April to June)
C - Third quarter of the year (July to September)
D - Fourth quarter of the year (October to December)
So C12 stands for the third quarter (July to September) and the manufacture year of 2012.
Please share this information to all those who might not know about these details. It would be helpful for them to check the cylinder before accepting it from the gas agency.
